Mindy and Randy were married in August and chose the Platinum Wedding Package for their Goshen, Indiana summer wedding reception. Mindy lives in Florida and Randy is an active duty Marine so we used our digital planning guides and Skype virtual consultation tools to give them a simple wedding planning process.
The charming Spohn Ballroom on the 3rd floor of a historic building in beautiful downtown Goshen, Indiana was the setting for the reception which offered amazing views of the Courthouse square on a sunny summer evening. DJ Sticky Boots was the emcee and Goshen Indiana wedding DJ for the evening and Mindy and Randy kept their playlist very open which allowed Sticky Boots to work the guests and keep the dance floor jumping all night with everything from traditional wedding staples like the Cha Cha Slide to current top 40 and hip-hop music.
Highlights of the evening included tons of energy with a custom produced grand entrance featuring individual songs for each member of the bridal party; and an anniversary dance to celebrate Mindy and Randy’s wedding date being shared by a grandma and grandpa and also an aunt and uncle on their 50th wedding anniversaries.
The garter toss was also unique as the garter Mindy wore was carried by Randy in his shoulder pocket of his Marine uniform throughout his entire second deployment in Afganistan on over 200 patrols. There were many other fellow Marines in attendance that evening and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house during the Best Man’s toast as he thanked Randy for his service to our country.
