Elcona Country Club in Bristol, Indiana, is a beautiful wedding venue all year long. It especially shines with the well-manicured grounds are filled with stunning fall color. Lydia and Mitch's early November wedding featured some of the most dazzling fall colors we had this year.
The start of fall in Elkhart County is beautiful. You can see the stunning shades of red, orange and yellow start to develop. Combined this with golden-pink sunsets, farmers harvesting their fields, big red barns, and winding lanes and you've got an Instagram-worthy backdrop for your wedding!
This is exactly the vibe that Karalyn and Dan wanted for the wedding ceremony and reception. This Fort Wayne-based couple found Rock Run Creek Barn online and fell in love. Why wouldn't they? It has all of those make-our-Midwestern-hearts-swell amenities, it's an 1850’s restored barn that is heated and features inside restrooms ... oh, and it's handicap accessible! Such a big WIN for these fall days where the sun in shining but isn't providing a lot of warmth!
Elcona Country Club is at the foot of the Bristol Hills and has a beautiful club house ballroom that overlooks the 18th green and 10th tee. The weather on this Saturday was exactly what you’d hope for with a wedding in early October - sunny skies, slight breeze and a temperature that wasn't too hot nor too cold.. And DANG, did this couple get the perfect combination of both!
Megan and Tony chose the Platinum entertainment package for their wedding reception based on both a recommendation from friends, and having grown up listening to Sticky Boots on the radio. Couples like that normally have a good idea of what the Sticky Boots experience is like and know how to have a good time, and as soon as we met Megan and Tony, we knew for certain this was going to be a super-fun wedding!
Just off the shores of Lake Wawasee on 27 acres of forested land in Syracuse, Oakwood Resort provides a stunning backdrop for almost any type of event. The only type of event it's not good for is one that doesn't want beautiful lake views, well-manicured grounds or a helpful staff to make sure the event goes off without a hitch. Those events may be out there, but we have yet to find one - ha!
We met Carrie and Nick via Facetime for their initial consultation. We knew that they were going to be a great couple to work with for a lot of reasons. If you are a graduate, the chance to return to that gorgeous campus and be married in the Basilica of the Sacred Heart is a once in a lifetime moment. We are so grateful to have preferred vendor status with many area venues, photographers, and other wedding professionals, and one of our favorites in the South Bend is Navarre Hospitality Group. Lately we’ve been blessed to work with the Navarre team at The Armory, the event space attached to Iron Hand Wine Bar along the St. Joe River in South Bend, for three of the last four weddings. Let’s explain … This Dallas TX-based couple were both attending Murray State University in small-town Kentucky and studying bio-chem when a mutual friend suggested they should meet up at a local bar. Rance, the Groom’s Best Man, explained what happened next in his speech: He went into a bar for a fun night with his buddy and before long found himself all-alone in said bar as Kevin had quickly ditched him completely for Alexandra! The rest, as they say, is history.

Brick walls, refinished wood floors, industrial ceilings - woohoo! And that's exactly what South Bend sweethearts Brit and Jeremy wanted for their wedding reception.
The Armory was the former Newman Recreation Center, located at Eddy Street and Northside Boulevard across from the South Bend Farmer’s Market. Thankfully developer Brad Emberton saw more in this building and spearheaded the renovation project along with Kurt Janowsky from Navarre Hospitality Group.

Alicia and Patrick hoped for exactly this type of wedding day and made sure they selected a wedding reception venue that would showcase beautiful weather. The Century Center in downtown South Bend fit the bill perfectly ... Island Park for cocktails and the Great Hall with huge windows for dinner and dancing. The bonus, they BOTH overlook the St. Joseph River and East Race!

In South Bend, Indiana, The Brick has all these features and so (so!) much more. Located between the YMCA and the Farmer's Market on Northside Boulevard, this 5,000 square foot venue has a totally open floor plan, an outdoor patio, and an art-deco bar. So cool! The bonus: this was exactly what Katie and Philip were looking for!

The Blue Heron at Blackthorn is one of those gems located in South Bend, Indiana. This venue is perfect because it’s just minutes from downtown South Bend and the South Bend International Airport which is perfect for your guests who are flying in for your big day! But one of the most perfect features is the colonial cape cod building itself that has an airy country club ambiance with vistas overlooking some of the prettiest golf holes in northern Indiana.
