Big red barns are kind of a staple for Indiana landscapes and Meadow Brook Barn is no exception. This farmstead in Goshen, Indiana, is well known for hosting community fairs in the early 1900’s, making its mark in Indiana’s listing of historical places.
The best part of this beautiful venue is it's filled with unique rustic spaces, magnificent views, and whimsical flowers ... which is exactly what Amanda and Adam wanted for their wedding ceremony and reception.
This Bristol-based couple also wanted a fun, lighthearted evening where people felt comfortable dancing the night away but were a bit concerned that their guests wouldn't leave the comfort of their chairs (because lets face it, summer heat combined with air conditioning and a soft chair can be a tiny slice of heaven). This is where DJ Sticky Boots and the Platinum wedding package is such a great choice because he can create the perfect mix to get all ages on the dance floor.
Before the toes started tapping though, Amanda and Adam had to get married! The ceremony was officiated by Amanda’s cousin, who although it was her first time, did a terrific job, and the sound was crystal clear with our wireless mic as part of the Ceremony package. The ceremony also included Amanda and Adam’s kids, as both junior attendants and participants in the sand ceremony, which was a touching way to bring the entire family together.
The gazebo was a perfect backdrop for the ceremony, and all 228 guests had great views of the newlyweds and the archways, flowers and scenic vistas over the planted farm fields. These make-our-heart-swoon touches are so beautiful, and Melies Kish of Kish Photos certainly loved all the Instagram-worthy spots on the property and got a lot of stunning photos.
Like we mentioned earlier, the guest list was not for the faint of heart: 228 guests! Meadow Brook Barn can hold 300 guests, so there was still plenty of room to mix and mingle and these guests did just that.
After a wonderful BBQ dinner catered by Sweazy Q Catering on the barn’s lower level (seriously, the Q Crew does a fantastic job!), Amanda and Adam enjoyed their first dance to Ed Sheeran's hit song “Perfect”.
The weather was hot, but the dance floor was equally as hot and Mother Nature couldn't slow this group down! Amanda and Adam were ready to dance all night long and Sticky Boots mixed songs that got everyone from 8 to 80 up and shakin' what the good Lord gave them.
We love when the bride and groom are having a great time and dance all night long. They, along with their guests, all ended the night dripping with sweat with some tired dancing shoes.

We recently used Blake for our ceremony and reception. He was AMAZING! Before the wedding he made sure that he knew exactly what we wanted, both the songs that we absolutely wanted and songs that we did not want played. He is very professional and quickly responds to any questions or changes that come up before the wedding. I would recommend him to all of my friends and family!
