WOAH. AUGUST WAS CRAZY-BUSY BUT MORE SO IT WAS INSANELY FUN!

At the beginning of August, Sticky Boots was invited to 1 MUSIC AVE, a premier music industry conference, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. As many of our clients are aware, Sticky Boots has a nationally-syndicated radio mix show, The HyperMiXx, that airs in over 15 FM markets nationwide (locally, you can catch him Friday and Saturday nights on 92.9FM / U93) plus he has a monthly throwback show on SiriusXM Utopia, Channel 341. 1 MUSIC AVE connects mix show DJs, record labels and artists all together for three days. These days consist of great networking, awesome new music, some pretty cool photo ops and a few short hours of sleep.

After being back in the South Bend area for less than 24-hours, Sticky was on the decks again DJing for the THOR Industries Elkhart Riverwalk Grand Prix in downtown Elkhart. Thousands of go-kart fans were on-hand dancing to the latest beats and of course, watching these karts go by lightening fast.

A few days later, Sticky Boots headed to San Antonio to be the opening DJ for Bryce Vine, Ally Brooke, Bazzi and Why Don’t We at the Kidd Kraddick Big Summer Blast with his San Antonio station, 961NOW.

The concert was held at the AT&T Center right in San Antonio and had over 10,000 screaming teenagers with their moms waiting for Why Don’t We. Honestly, we weren’t even sure screaming could reach that many decibels, but here’s proof. Check out Sticky’s Instagram story:

Holy. Cow. Gonzo from 961NOW was able to snap the awesome shot from front-of-house just before the concert started.

You can sleep when you’re dead, right (psa - it’s not good advice, you need to get a good amount of sleep on a regular basis!) but as soon as the plane landed from San Antonio, Sticky was headed to Four Winds Field with his U93 family for the Snoop Dogg and Friends concert.

So, that’s why we were a bit MIA on socials during August. But we’re ready to kick-off September … it’s jam-packed with a ton of weddings. Stay tuned!
