We love a good legacy. So when Renee contacted us in early 2019 to see if Sticky Boots was available for her upcoming 2020 wedding, we knew right away it was going to be a great party!
Elcona Country Club in Bristol, Indiana, is a beautiful wedding venue all year long. It especially shines with the well-manicured grounds are filled with stunning fall color. Lydia and Mitch's early November wedding featured some of the most dazzling fall colors we had this year.
The start of fall in Elkhart County is beautiful. You can see the stunning shades of red, orange and yellow start to develop. Combined this with golden-pink sunsets, farmers harvesting their fields, big red barns, and winding lanes and you've got an Instagram-worthy backdrop for your wedding!
This is exactly the vibe that Karalyn and Dan wanted for the wedding ceremony and reception. This Fort Wayne-based couple found Rock Run Creek Barn online and fell in love. Why wouldn't they? It has all of those make-our-Midwestern-hearts-swell amenities, it's an 1850’s restored barn that is heated and features inside restrooms ... oh, and it's handicap accessible! Such a big WIN for these fall days where the sun in shining but isn't providing a lot of warmth!
Elcona Country Club is at the foot of the Bristol Hills and has a beautiful club house ballroom that overlooks the 18th green and 10th tee. The weather on this Saturday was exactly what you’d hope for with a wedding in early October - sunny skies, slight breeze and a temperature that wasn't too hot nor too cold.. And DANG, did this couple get the perfect combination of both!
Megan and Tony chose the Platinum entertainment package for their wedding reception based on both a recommendation from friends, and having grown up listening to Sticky Boots on the radio. Just off the shores of Lake Wawasee on 27 acres of forested land in Syracuse, Oakwood Resort provides a stunning backdrop for almost any type of event. The only type of event it's not good for is one that doesn't want beautiful lake views, well-manicured grounds or a helpful staff to make sure the event goes off without a hitch. Those events may be out there, but we have yet to find one - ha!
We met Carrie and Nick via Facetime for their initial consultation. We knew that they were going to be a great couple to work with for a lot of reasons. I think we’re good for now.” But Amber and Michael are no average couple, and they weren’t going to let anything stand in their way on this special day.
Elkhart couple Sara and Jared had been planning their wedding since last Fall and had every contingency covered. At the beginning of March we started looking at options for alternative dates and even had one picked out in August, but we were thrilled when Sara announced that they were going forward with the event on it’s original date with whatever modifications necessary to meet state safety guidelines. New jobs individually brought Cara and Pete to the Goshen-area, a meet-up group connected them, and then Bread & Chocolate in the Old Bag Factory in Goshen brought their respective families together from the Noblesville Indiana and Trenton NJ areas for this memorable January wedding celebration that kicked off Sticky Boots’ 2020 wedding tour.
Unique, one-of-a-kind venues are places that make us excited to be a part of a wedding, and The Armory in South Bend falls perfectly into that category. Brick walls, refinished wood floors, industrial ceilings - woohoo! And that's exactly what South Bend sweethearts Brit and Jeremy wanted for their wedding reception.
The Armory was the former Newman Recreation Center, located at Eddy Street and Northside Boulevard across from the South Bend Farmer’s Market. Thankfully developer Brad Emberton saw more in this building and spearheaded the renovation project along with Kurt Janowsky from Navarre Hospitality Group.
Rock Run Creek Barn is a beautiful venue in Goshen, Indiana, with historic big red barn charm and modern amenities like heat, indoor restrooms and a lower floor that becomes the perfect location for a wedding ceremony when the weather just isn't cooperating.
Madison and Cody knew their November wedding would have an incredibly scenic vista of fall color, but they proactively chose to have an indoor ceremony to take a bit of the Indiana fall unpredictability out of the equation.
